We were honored to share our story with Omaha Real Producers Magazine this April. The feature, "Vision in Every Window," follows our owners Don and Julie Helms through their journey from military service to running Accent Window Fashions.

Fun fact from the article: Our dog Oliver has earned the title of "official greeter and top salesman"—he's at the showroom most days collecting belly rubs from customers.

Real Producers Event - June 2025
June brought real estate professionals to our showroom for a Real Producers networking event. We enjoyed showing agents how the right window treatments can transform their listings and help their buyers envision a home's potential.
It's always eye-opening for real estate professionals to learn how much Hunter Douglas window treatments, especially automated options, have become part of modern home design. These conversations help agents better serve their clients, and homeowners discover options they didn't know existed.
Hosting PRO's Speed Networking Mixer - August 2025
Our showroom turned into networking central this August when we hosted the Professional Remodelers Organization speed networking event. Over 70 contractors, designers, and suppliers filled our space, making connections and having meaningful conversations.
The energy was fantastic and so much more impactful than your average business card exchange—attendees made the kinds of connections that strengthen our entire community. The entire evening reminded us why we love what we do: it's all about people supporting people.

When Don and Julie bought Accent Window Fashions back in 2012, they put down deep roots in Omaha. After Don's 21 years in the Army and Julie's 24 years running her accounting business, they wanted to build something meaningful right here at home.
The showroom at 204th & Blondo Parkway opened in 2023 after ten years of operating.
